AHMAD SOEBARDJO

there are a lot of heroes from Indonesia that fought for Indonesia's independence. their dedications, bravery and their love for this country is truly remarkable. they fought until their last breath for justice in this country, and that is a really great thing to do.

one of the Indonesia's national heroes that are known for their brave acts and their dedication for their country is Raden Ahmad Soebardjo Djojoadisoerjo, most people know him as Ahmad Soebardjo. Ahmad Soebardjo was born in Teluk Jambe, Karawang Regency, West Java, on 23 March 1896. His father's name was Teuku Muhammad Yusuf and his mother's name was Wardinah. he was a diplomat, one of Indonesia's founding fathers and he also became the first Foreign Minister of Indonesia.

his name may be not as popular as R. A. Kartini or Ir. Soekarno, but that doesn't mean he was less dedicated and less brave. i believe that you've already hear his name before when you were learning about Indonesia's Independence History, Indonesia's Proclamation story to be exact. he was involved in the famous Rengasdengklok Tragedy, a tragedy that happened a day before the proclamation. he bravely convinced the people who kidnapped Soekarno and Hatta and brought them back to Jakarta safely. without him, this country might not be an independent and a great country as it is right now.

do you feel happy and proud seeing a hero like him consisted in Indonesia? i do! like his brave acts, and his love for this country. you can be a hero yourself! in our age, you don't need to start with putting yourself in a war. instead, start with little things that makes you a better you, for you and people around you. like him, be brave and be dedicated in whatever you do, and always help people in need! big things takes time, everything big was always started with little steps, one at a time. maybe one day you can join the National Army of Indonesia and protect our country even more!
